The Senior Waiter plays a key role in supporting the service team and ensuring smooth floor operations. They supervise junior waiters, maintain service quality, assist with guest interactions, and serve as a link between the waitstaff and the F&B Captain or Manager. The Senior Waiter leads by example, providing guidance, training, and motivation to uphold the restaurant’s service standards and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support junior waiters during daily operations.

• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality guest service.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for smooth order flow and timely service.

• Manage table allocations and assist during peak service periods.

• Handle VIP guests and resolve minor guest issues professionally.

• Train, mentor, and guide new service staff on service standards and etiquette.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards at all times.

• Assist in daily briefings and ensure readiness before each shift.

Job Requirements:

• +2 or equivalent training in Hospitality Management (Bachelor’s in Hotel Management preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage service department.

• Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, beverages, and table service techniques.

• Proven ability to lead shifts and train junior team members.

• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a guest-focused approach.
