  1. How do I register an account at Jobejee?
     It's a simple 2-step process. Just log on to www.jobejee.com and click on Register in the Job Seeker section of the top left corner.
    Step 1: Fill in your details
    Step 2: Activate your registration by clicking on the link sent to you in the welcome email.

  2. Can I use Jobejee without registering?
     Yes, you can search for jobs at Jobejee without registering an account. You can also choose to apply for jobs externally whether you have an account.

    The benefits of registering an account and applying via Jobejee are that you get access to all the Jobejee features designed to make every step of your job application process easy. For example: you get job recommendations from our intelligent algorithm, so relevant jobs are delivered to you without searching. If you apply for a job through Jobejee, you will also get notified anytime your application makes progress or when you are called in for an interview.

  3. Does it cost me anything?
     Registering a Jobejee account is free of cost for job seekers. Access to and use of all the features are free as well.

  4. Do I need a valid email address and phone number for registration?
     Yes, you need a valid email address and phone number to register on Jobejee.com. You have to verify both. The same email address and phone number will be used to communicate with you in the future.

    We value your privacy, and we hate spam as much as you do. We are not going to spam or sell your email address to any third party. We only need your email address to provide you with job-related information or other career-related notifications you may choose.

  5. What is OTP? Why do I need it?
     OTP stands for One Time Password, which is required to verify your mobile number and to register your account. OTP is sent to the provided mobile number.

2. Login
  1. How do I log in?
     Click Login in the top navigation bar of the homepage header and enter your username (email ID) and password registered with us.

  2. I have created my profile but am not able to log in.
     Check your username and password. If you are still not able to log in, please visit your email inbox and look for the welcome mail received from us.

  3. I don't remember my password. How do I reset it?
     If you cannot find the welcome mail or don’t remember your password, click on the Forgot Password link below the login box. Enter your username (email ID). A new password will be sent to your registered email address.

3. Explore/Search
  1. What is Search?
     Search gives you an option to look for relevant jobs based on your specific requirements. To search for a job, you can use the given search window. You may use the following criteria:

    • Keywords: Designation, Key Skills, or Company Name.

    • Locations: Cities you are interested in working in.

    • Work Experience: Number of years you have worked.

    • Expected Salary: Specify minimum and maximum expected salary.

    • Industry: Desired job industry.

    • Functional Area: Desired job function.

    • Job Type: Full-time, part-time, or correspondence.

    • Employer Type: Type of employer you wish to work for.

  2. How can I search for jobs?
     Our system matches positions to your skills and preferences, but you can also use the search bar at the top of the homepage to search manually.

  3. The job search sometimes shows thousands of results. How can I refine my search further?
     Use the Advanced Search option on the left side of the search results page. You can refine results based on:

    • Industry type

    • Role required

    • Source of the job (company or consultancy)

    • Date of job posting

  4. How do I search for relevant jobs?
     It is recommended that you specify keywords, preferred locations, and your total work experience to get results closest to your requirements. If you see too many results, refine your criteria. If you see No Results Found, broaden your search.

  5. How do I apply for jobs from search results?
     First, log in and then click the Apply button with the job posting. If you are not logged in, it will ask you to login or register. You can also apply without registration by filling out a short form. 

4. Profile Maintenance
  1. How do I edit/update my profile?

    Login to your account using your verified email ID and password.

    Go to the My Profile page.

    Click the Edit link against each section to update your information.

  2. How can I upload a new resume and replace my old one?
     In the My Profile section, scroll down to the Resume Tab. Browse and upload a new or updated resume. This will automatically replace your old resume.

  3. How can I update my employment details?
     Add previous job details by selecting area of work, specialization, role, and number of years in that job. Click Add Another Job in the edit section of your profile.

  4. How can I update my education details?
     Click Add More in the Education section. Select qualification, specialization, institute, and course type, then press Add to List. Don’t forget to save changes.

  5. What information can employers see in my profile?
     Employers can view all the information you have uploaded in your profile.

  6. How often do I need to update my profile?
     It is recommended to update your profile every six months to include new skills and experience.

  7. What are the benefits of a completed profile?
     A completed profile gives you two main advantages:

    You are more likely to get noticed by employers.

    Our algorithms can provide more accurate job recommendations and salary benchmarks.

5. Jobejee Features
  1. What are bookmarked jobs and how can I use them?
     If you find jobs you want to apply for later, you can bookmark them. They will appear in the Jobs for your page in the leftmost section under Bookmarked Jobs. You will also get notifications before they expire.

  2. What are job alerts and how can I activate them?
     Job alerts are created by you for jobs you don’t want to miss. Anytime a matching job is posted, you will get a notification. You can activate job alerts by clicking Create Job Alerts in the Jobs for your page.

  3. What are job recommendations and how can I activate them?
     Job recommendations are jobs that might interest you. They are generated automatically by our algorithm based on your profile details.

  4. What is the applicant ranking and how can I use it?
     Applicant ranking shows where you stand compared to other applicants for the same job. It is based on education, work experience, skills, salary expectations, and job location. You can use this to identify your strengths and areas for improvement.

  5. What is the salary benchmark and how accurate is it?
     Salary benchmark gives you an estimated salary range for a particular job and designation. It is based on the current job market and our database. While useful, it may not always be exact.
