Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing sales operations within an assigned region for broadband, fiber, and enterprise internet services. This role focuses on channel development, team leadership, and achieving aggressive sales targets in a competitive telecom environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies for ISP products (FTTH, broadband, leased lines, enterprise solutions).

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities in residential, SME, and corporate segments.

  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust pricing/offer strategies accordingly.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and field teams.

  • Set sales targets and KPIs for team members.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

3. Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and manage dealer/distributor networks.

  • Strengthen relationships with local partners, resellers, and agents.

  • Ensure proper availability and visibility of ISP services in the region.

4. Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive customer acquisition campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Work closely with customer support teams to improve retention and reduce churn.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

5. Market Expansion

  • Identify untapped geographic areas for network expansion.

  • Collaborate with technical teams for feasibility and rollout planning.

  • Launch new services and promotional campaigns in the region.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.

  • Use CRM tools to track pipeline, leads, and conversions.

  • Provide insights to senior management for decision-making.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field
