Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process Letters of Credit (L/C) for import and export transactions. 

• Review L/C terms to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and contracts. 

• Coordinate with banks for opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement of L/Cs. 

• Monitor L/C validity, shipment schedules, and payment deadlines. 

• Handle bank guarantees, bills of exchange, and foreign remittances. 

• Liaise with banks for trade finance facilities such as import/export finance and packing credit. 

• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, and Logistics teams for smooth documentation and transaction flow. 

• Verify and manage shipping and commercial documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.). 

• Maintain accurate records of all trade finance transactions and related documentation. 

• Prepare MIS reports on L/C status, trade exposure, and bank utilization.

 • Support internal and external audits related to trade finance activities.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or International Business. 

• 2+ years of relevant experience in L/C operations or trade finance.

Skills Required: 

• Strong understanding of international trade procedures and banking regulations. 

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle preferred). 

• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills. 

• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
